Daily Scripture Readings Meditations

First, I must say that I have no intention for this site to be of any special religion or belief system, this is just a powerful way to be conscious of the unknown universe. Daily scripture readings and meditations can go hand in hand with anyone’s beliefs and be very calming for the mind.

As we all know, often people that are not religious of any kind tend to pray when they face difficult situations, like when they are in great danger or in a very low state in their life.

So I have read a lot about this and was thinking about this method for a long time and it is a calming and gentle kind of meditation. This daily scripture readings and meditations are for anyone out there.

What Is Daily Scripture Readings And Meditation?

If you just think about it for a second, you will understand that praying is one of the classics of all meditation techniques in the western world and maybe the one that is most easy for us to understand.

Everyone can easily get a hold of a bible or just browse the internet for daily scriptures or any passage from the bible that you find interesting or beautiful. Of course, you also can do this with any other book or text that you find beautiful or meaningful.Daily Scripture Readings And Meditations

You can just reflect and think about what the writer of the text means and how can this piece of text incorporate with my life, I will give some examples further down in this text.

But Is this Meditation?

Yes of course it is! you sit down and reflect on something outside your being and feel with the inner being, this is as much of meditation that it can be.

Light a candle and find a calm and quiet place, just reflect on the words that you read, do not let the mind slip away in other directions just be there and now, and think about what you are reading.

This is mindfulness and meditation all in one, you can also see it as a form of manifestation, so what are you waiting for?

Can I Do This Without Being Religious?

Yes, of course, you can, In the bible there are several teachings on how to be a good person and some of the most fundamental teachings in all the old teachings can be traced to the same source.

You have heard this about affirmation or the law of attraction, this is the same teachings as you can find everywhere in old teachings from around the world, simply prayers.Daily Scripture Readings And Meditations

In Joshua 1:8 is says “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then, you will make your way prosperous, and then, you will have good success.”

In Psalm 119:15 it says “I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.” that is absolutely the concept of meditation.

Meditation is contemplating, fixing our attention, and read the text out loud in the mind over and over again. Meditating on the Word of God seems to be a lost art today from many Christians, they may see it as some new age thing but I think it is a good method for everyone.

I think that sums it all up if you really think about the words written there.

There are a lot of things you can meditate on, like if you are anxious or if you want health and money. I will give you some tips down here but try to do this your own way and as I see it, you can do it in any way you like.

Help In Finding Daily Scripture Readings And Meditation

Here are some powerful passages to reflect upon, if you feel stressed or anxious. I think you got it when you read these lines and just apply it to your life and your situation. These are just very powerful stuff that everyone can reflect upon whoever they are and no matter what belief they might have.

Proverbs 17:22

“A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”

Matthew 6:34

“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble”

Psalms 37:5

“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.”

You can have these with you, wherever you go, and if you feel some negativity, just stop for a moment and calm down and reflect on one easy verse.Daily Scripture Readings And Meditations

What About Reflecting On Money?

As I wrote along these lines, there is nothing wrong with reflecting on having more money. If you can’t pay the rent then there is nothing wrong to talk to the universe and ask or pray for some help.

There are even some parts in the bible and other books that you can reflect upon when there are material things you seek in your everyday life to just get by and handle the stress money, work and family can provide your inner self.

Here are some parts of the bible.

Matthew 21:22

And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believe, you shall receive it”

If you put this into context with the law of attraction you can see the similarities

“The most important factor to note is the emphasis on “believe” because when you ask for something and don’t believe that you can have it, it’s not possible for you to see its manifestation because you will not be a vibration match to your desire.

Matthew 7:7

“Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you”

There are no limits to what you can achieve in life and no limits to what the universe can give you. Think about it as if you already have it.

Conclusion

If you just open up and reflect on your life, then what are the possibilities? These teachings are old and those who really understand the power who lies within the word (not just the bible) can get what they want if they really want and open up their inner being for what the universe is ready to give to them.Daily Scripture Readings And Meditations

I will on this site have different texts about different teachings, some may offend and some may be of great benefit for you, but if you have a closed heart then may the spirituality behind these words be blocked forever, therefore I hope that my readers are open for anything and that can be of significant change to not block the power of the universe no matter what teachings or articles you read.

Feel free to ask anything in the comments.

  1. What a lovely, open-minded and helpful article! Thank you so very much for sharing.
It is so important to have an open heart and if you do you can learn from any text in any way. Especially religious teachings. They actually teach us that we are divine creature and part of the creation and as that can lower our resistance and let abbundance find its way into our lives. Thank you so very much for your quotes and thoughts.

  2. Hi, I enjoyed this article. It is good to read from scriptures even for non religious people, as it can open the mind to new possibilities and make a person more conscious.
I consider myself to be spiritual, and I believe meditation has a lot of power.
I also believe you are right that one should believe in what he wants to achieve, and ask the universe for it.

  3. I totally agree with you. Meditation is not religion specific. Anyone can meditate if they wish to do so. And the benefits from meditation are many.

Although I am more Buddhist. More a follower of Kwan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy. I am more a believer of one divine being. One creator. I just feel more connected to Kwan Yin. Most times, I speak to that creator whom I call The Universe. And I meditate upon that connection.

It is a delight to read this article, and I look forward to more posts from you.
