The Wisdom of Anxiety By Sheryl Paul

I can not praise this book enough, in this book you get a real understanding behind the thoughts and feelings, I think Sheryl has made a fantastic book with very deep emotions behind.

She writes and you feel like she is holding your hand in this journey to understand why you feel the way you do.

I found a quote about this book by singer/songwriter Alanis Morrisette that can sum up how well written this book is:

“In this wisdom-drenched book, Sheryl Paul’s perspective on the epidemic of anxiety paves the way for a seismic shift toward a more equanimous and compassionate world. The Wisdom of Anxiety serves as a well-lit pathway to the truth of who we are and to how to navigate life when paralyzed by anxiety, depression, overwhelm, and a sense of hopelessness. This is a manifesto for our certain return to wholeness.”

Social Anxiety Solution By Henry Campbell

Well informative Book, I’ve been reading self-help books of all types for many years. This is one of the books that can help long term. Other books I have read I think can have a placebo effect on people because they are often written by doctors or psychiatrists.

After reading this book and watching his videos things started to click and make sense to me and the change can really be lasting. It takes time to change old thought habits. I believe a big part of why this book has clicked with me is because it is written by a fellow sufferer.

The contents of this book have helped me in many more areas than just socializing. You don’t have to do a bunch of tedious exercises for it to work. It has helped restructure my thinking in a positive way. I’m happy I found this book.

Hack Your Anxiety By Alicia H. Clark

Hack Your Anxiety: How to Make Anxiety Work for You in Life, Love and All That You Do” is outstanding! Easy to understand, the book helps you decode what your anxiety is trying to tell you.

The insights Clark gives us in this book are like small things that easy to implement on the way we think.

The personal stories she included made the book a much lighter read then I expected. I appreciated its practical nature especially the toolkit at the end. If you only read one book on this subject make it this one- very much worth your time.
